After winning the New England Golden Gloves Brian turned professional in 1995. He remained undefeated until his boxing career ended prematurely due to injuries sustained in a car accident.
To fill the competitive void he began doing stand-up comedy around the Boston area. Brian honed his comedy skills while achieving a masters degree at Emerson College, which is known for such alumni as Dennis Leary, Jay Leno, and Steven Wright.
While at Emerson Brian filmed a documentary, called The Wait, on Mike Tyson’s first post-prison fight against Peter McNeeley. As one of Peter’s sparring partners Brian was able to capture exclusive behind the scenes footage of the 3 months leading up to the fight. The fight turned out to be the most watched boxing match in history and the documentary ultimately won numerous awards at film festivals around the country.
Today, Brian is a outside wholesaler working with financial advisors in the South East United States. In his free time Brian still does stand-up comedy in the Atlanta area and boxes in the gym, but only to stay in shape.
